After returning from Okinawa, I started catching up on all the shows I had recorded.

I ended up binge-watching ZEXAL too.

Feels like the story is finally getting to the real deal~

As expected of Series Composer Yoshida-san’s scripts!

I’m truly impressed by the way the story unfolds.

The monster designs are beautiful, and the animation is full of energy!

All in all — thank you, Director Kuwabara~!

For this series, my role was in setting things up —I worked on the concepts, the main characters, gave a (mostly rough) idea of the story to the staff, and then left the rest in their hands.

I had mentally prepared myself for the final product to turn out very different from what I had imagined, but thanks to the distance I now have from the series, I can enjoy ZEXAL purely as a fan!

Actually, the most difficult part of this series was deciding on the title.

Over the course of half a year, we went through more than 100 proposals, but they kept getting scrapped!

I was really hung up on having the title start with a Z, so eventually we settled on this one.

Since ZEAL (passion) multiplies when it collides with another, we stuck an X in the middle.

Now that the staff can definitely create something fun, I feel totally at ease!

And now... I’m about to binge-watch the Star Wars six-movie Blu-ray box set that I’ve been waiting so long for~!

ZEXALもまとめ鑑賞。ようやく本題に入っていく感じだな〜。シリーズ構成の吉田さんの脚本、さすがだな〜！こう来たかって感心させられる。モンスターのデザインもすばらしいね！作画もすごくがんばってくれてるし！とにかく桑原監督ありがと〜！

今回のシリーズで最も苦労したもののひとつは実はタイトル。半年近くの間に１００以上の案が出されて、ボツの連続！オレがZで始まるタイトルにこだわってこのタイトルに決めました！ZEAL（情熱）がぶつかり合って、倍になるというXを中心に加えたタイトルです。

というわけで待ちに待ったSTARWARS６部作ブルーレイ版をこれから一気観するぜ〜！

ZEXAL也是一口气观赏完毕。

觉得终于要进入正题了呢~。

果然不愧是系列构成吉田先生的脚本~！

真佩服他的剧情展开。

怪兽的设计也很漂亮呢！

作画也十分铆劲！

总之就是要谢谢桑原导演~！

创作这个系列，我担任的是设定，主要角色，将（基本上只是大略的）故事什么的告诉斯大夫，之后就全部交给他们，尽管如此，我还是做好心理准备成品会跟我想象的相去甚远，但也因为我跟作品的距离拉开了，现在我是以一个粉丝的心态去享受ZEXAL带给我的乐趣！

这个系列最折腾人一个东西其实是标题。

近半年时间里提了100多个案子，但都是连续废案！

俺是执著要用Z做字头的标题所以最终决定了这题目！

相互碰撞的ZEAL（热情）会成倍增长所以在中间加了个X。

现在斯大夫肯定可以创作出有趣的作品，俺已经很放心了！

于是乎现在我准备一口气看完我等了好久的星球大战六部蓝光版~！（和希）
