It seems that the news about Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL has now been officially announced.

They had me help out with the character design again this time.

The protagonist, Yuma, is the youngest among all the main characters so far.

This energetic, challenge-loving, and spirited boy is sure to bring us even more fiery duels!

The anime will begin airing in the spring next year, and the manga is already running in V Jump!

The script for Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL is being handled by Mr. Shin Yoshida,

who has continuously supported the Yu-Gi-Oh! series.

And the manga is drawn by Miyoshi-kun.

To put it simply—Miyoshi-kun’s art is beautiful!

I can trust him completely!

The anime is also being brought together with the strongest staff lineup.

It should be really exciting!

Everyone, please look forward to it!

…Though, it seems like my character design sketches are really hard to draw.

游戏王ZEXAL的消息好像已经发表了呢。

这次他们也让我帮忙搞人物设定。

主角是历代主角之中年龄最小的，名字叫”游马“。

这个元气十足乐于挑战精力旺盛的少年，肯定会我们带来更多热血的决斗的！

动画是明年春天开始，漫画已经在VJ上面连载了！

负责游戏王ZEXAL脚本的是一直支持着游戏的脚本家吉田伸先生。

负责漫画的则是三好君。

一句话总结三好君的画很漂亮！

我已经可以完全信任他了呢！

动画也是以最强阵容现身，应该会很有趣！

大家也请一定要期待哦！

不过我的人设图好像真的好难画的样子呢，抱歉啦~各位原画师！（和希）

Last week, I spent an entire week in Kyoto!

Man~~! Kyoto is so beautiful~!

The autumn leaves were stunning—I was deeply moved~!

I visited various temples, got lost in the sight of gardens, bare trees, and flowing water, and even lost track of time!

As I walked on the ground covered with fallen crimson leaves, I realized—the shape of the leaves looks just like Yugi’s hair!

What a late-autumn impression! A major discovery!

Even though I went to Kyoto on school trips during junior and senior high, I didn’t think it was interesting at the time.

Kyoto is the kind of place you only come to appreciate as you get older!

So then~ I’m planning to go back next year to see the cherry blossoms~!

上星期在京都转了一星期呢！

今天J制片过来工作室讨论工作了，但是他笑眯眯地张嘴第一句就是

Yesterday, I went to an advance screening for a 3D projector.

Looks like everything might become 3D in the future, huh?

The first time I saw a 3D camera, I was seriously shocked!

I even took a picture of my beloved dog, Taro, and the nose popped out of the photo! So amazing~!

They didn’t have any 3D TVs on display, but if you used this for fighting scenes or sports action, it would be really fun.

I want to see that kind of thing!

But wearing the glasses is a hassle, and your eyes get tired after long periods.

Seems like glasses-free technology is also in development—the future is seriously impressive.

I even started thinking seriously, like—what if the kids who grew up watching Yu-Gi-Oh! became scientists when they grew up, then went on to develop holograms, and actually created Duel Disks, and made monsters come to life in 3D~!!

...Just kidding!

But wouldn’t that be super fun if it actually happened?

Since the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie is also in 3D, I kind of feel like I have to go with the trend, or I’d feel left out.

Also—hurry up and release the 3D movie software already!

昨天我去参加3D投影仪的先行放映会。

以后可能什么东西都会变成3D了呢。

第一次看见3D照相机的时候我也吓了一跳！

帮俺的爱犬塔罗拍了张照片，照片的鼻子会凸出来的哦！好厉害呀～！

虽然没有陈列3D电视，但是如果是格斗或者是运动场面的话应该会很有趣呢，好想看一下啊！

但是戴眼镜的话会很麻烦，长时间观看的话眼睛又会疲劳，裸眼技术好像也在开发中，未来真的好厉害哦。

俺还认真的想啊，那些看着游戏王长大的孩子

变成大人之后成为了科学家，然后开发立体影像，造出决斗盘，让怪兽立体化～！！

开玩笑啦～！

如果能实现的话好像很有趣呢！

游戏的动画也是3D，总觉得要是不随大流的话好像说不过去呢。

话说快点出剧场版的3D软体啊！

Man, this episode of BUTTON ended up with quite a long story~

And with the animation getting all chaotic, I bet my editor Tomonaga-kun had a tough time too.

I didn’t draw any proper storyboards, just sketched scenes on a whim, cut stuff out whenever I felt like it—totally free-form.

But Tomonaga-kun didn’t show a single sign of annoyance, and even helped with the post-production.

He really saved me.

If we go drinking, it’ll be my treat~!

Lately, there’s this super life-wasting game that’s been totally interrupting my work.

It’s a game from the iPhone app ORBITAL, and before I knew it, time just vanished—I got completely hooked! What a problem!

...This post sounds like nothing but a bunch of excuses, huh.

真是的，这集BUTTON的故事好像长了一点呢～。

俺做动画又做得乱七八糟，帮我编辑的友永君也很痛苦吧。　

完全没画图画分镜，场景也是想画就画，想删就删，其实搞得很随性。

可是友永君没有表现出很讨厌的样子，帮着我做后期处理，他真是帮了我很大的忙。

要喝酒的话就由我请客吧～！

最近有个很浪费人生的游戏呐，搞得俺的工作都中断了呀。

是iPhone程序ORBITAL里的游戏啦，我觉察到的时候时间已经飞逝了，我完全沉浸下去了啊～！麻烦很大！
